Engineering Manager job in Algeria
Our client requires an Engineering Manager to be based in Algeria
This role will be heading up our clients new office in Algiers
Main duties;
• Establishment of a cost effective engineering capability in the Algerian Market
• Management of the engineering team in clients office.
• Responsible for the set-up co-ordination and management of workflow within clients office.
• Responsible for development and maintenance of engineering process and procedures for clients office.
• Management of interfaces between engineering team and other engineering resources eg Glasgow Office.
• Providing expertise as In Country Algerian capability expands.
• Assurance of Technical Integrity though the application of engineering process and procedures.
Requirements;
Education/Qualifications:
• Degree qualification or equivalent in relevant subject
• Chartered Engineer with relevant recognized professional body
Specific Training / Specialist Skills:
• Formal management training
• French Speaking an advatage
Experience:
• International experience in the engineering industry.
• Significant experience in the engineering industry of which some must have been with a major Oil and Gas Contractor in a supervisory position such as Lead Engineer.
• Experience of managing a multidiscipline engineering team within a design office environment.
• Experience in the development and application of the necessary process to assure technical integrity.
