In their renowned energy sector, we are looking for a versatile Engineering Manager to work hand in hand with some of the most advanced technology equipment and services for the oil and gas industry. Being versatile just means you will be able to demonstrate leadership in communicating business opportunities for a designated business segment, and be focused on the business objectives for not only self but also others.
An Engineering Manager will provide high volume technical leadership and mentoring for the assigned projects, to ensure the doable technical delivery. You will provide full definition of engineering workscope and set key milestones for all engineering aspects of project execution. Besides ensuring technical compliance of all products with codes of practice, standards and legislation, it is also essential on your part to monitor the QHSE compliance. From time to time, you will need to review and approve technical literature and field service manual.
An ideal candidate for this role will have a Mechanical Engineering degree and at least 8 (eight) years experience Oil & Gas engineering experience. Someone who has technological proficiency and cross-functional experience. Additional experience in NPI process for designing / implementing new products is advantageous, so is an understanding of Six Sigma tools. Ultimately you must be a team player who welcomes a multi-disciplined team environment.
