Engineering Business Manager North Sea Decommissioning

As part of our growth in the upstream oil and gas sector we are now recruiting an Engineering Business Manager to join our operations in Aberdeen. This key post will be responsible for developing and implementing a corporate growth strategy within the offshore market; and leading Tier 3 engineering services with a particular focus on decommissioning activities.
The position will involve developing long term relationships with new and existing clients actively seeking new business opportunities within the market and bringing innovative engineering services and solutions to our clients. You will mentor and coach junior business development and/or technical staff and network within and outside the URS Group to drive growth in this sector as well as cross sell other related URS services.
The successful candidate will have considerable experience in engineering within the offshore oil and gas industry ideally gained within a consultancy environment.
You will have a proven track record in developing business successfully with excellent communication leadership negotiation and commercial business skills.
