CCL cclglobal.com has been requested by an international oil & gas operating company to provide an Electrical Commissioning Engineer. 6/2 rotation while based in Milan / UAE 28/28 rotation in Algeria on 12 month contract renewable. Very competitive rate. Excellent T&Cs. Degree in Electrical Engineering. Certified as Senior Authorised Electrical Person - from LV and up to and including 30kV systems. Able to work in a culturally diverse remote & challenging environment desert location. Team player and team leader skills in operational support and development engineering role. Highly developed interpersonal skills verbal & written communication. Positively interactive with contractors operations and project personnel. Fluent English. French an advantage. Must be eligible for an Algerian work permit 28 years or more and under 60 years of age. Minimum 15 years electrical commissioning experience in the Oil & Gas industry. Experience in commissioning of HV / MV & LV power distribution systems. Develop project commissioning procedures and method statements necessary to safely start up facilities. Review & approve all commissioning procedures prepared by project contractors. Accept on behalf of company all contractor Pre-commissioning / commissioning tests and checks and associated ITRs. Manage / witness all electrical equipment / system testing during start-up of central processing facility / offsite infrastructure. Ensure design and construction of facilities is completed to project specifications relevant codes industry norms and verify design from a commissioning / operability standpoint.
