Job Description
Our client a major oil and gas operator currently require an EHS Advisor to work in Bangladesh - To lead EHS within the Bangladesh team focusing on the actions arising from the fatality investigation whilst finding a local Bangladeshi to coach/mentor as the future EHS Adviser.
Demonstrate the appropriate behaviours and leadership around the EHS and motivate people to lead on EHS
Provide active EHS support advice and guidance to operational personnel
Ensure that operational personnel are aware of their EHS responsibilities and are supported to meet those
Monitor compliance with EHS policies & procedures and recommend corrective or improvement action
Manage EHS related permits and consents processes e.g. EIA Safety Cases etc.
Provide EHS input to Contracting & Procurement processes
Develop and maintain country or project specific EHS documents e.g. EHS Plans local ER Plans etc.
Facilitate or participate in risk assessment activities
Liaise with Regulators or other external Stakeholders in area of operations
Support implementation of incident reporting & investigation in area of operations
Liaise with EHS personnel in key Contractor organisations
Implement local ER arrangements and ensure adequate provision of personnel and facilities
Candidates wishing to apply must have:
Core level of EHS training and qualifications such as NEBOSH certificate as a minimum.
Proven experience of managing EHS in oil and gas operations
