Description


Maintenance Supervisor will be in charge of, but not limited to, the following duties



  • Supervise a team that could include: mechanics, helpers, technicians, yard hands, forklift operators, welders, clerks and others as needed

  • Utilize and interpret blueprints and schematics for necessary installation, maintenance and repairs

  • Ensure that all maintenance, repairs and installations are done in a safe, efficient manner

  • Keep detailed records of all preventative maintenance and repairs

  • Understand and follow proper rigging techniques for equipment lifting and material handling.

  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of all rig equipment.

  • Maintain a well organized parts and supply inventory.

  • Dispatch personnel in an efficient and effective manner to maximize productivity.


 Qualifications




  • Prior Rig Mechanic experience (4 years)

  • Prior Supervisory experience (2 years)

  • Experience ordering parts/supplies and maintaining an inventory to minimize downtime to the operation

  • Advanced technical training and certifications are highly desired

  • Hydraulic & pneumatics experience

  • Must have detailed knowledge of the operation and maintenance of all equipment on a drilling rig.

  • Must be able to legibly read and write reports
