Job Description
Experienced Drilling Engineer required for established exploration and production operator.
Candidates should have substantial technical drilling expertise in HTHP exploration and experience in leading integrated well team.
Responsibilities will include but not restricted to
Ensure that development appraisal and exploration wells are drilled and completed in a safe cost effective and an environmentally responsible manner.
Lead technical role for drilling program planning and preparation.
Develop drilling strategies operational plans and implementation of operations.
Provide input expert opinion and assistance on all engineering and operational aspects
Organize and implement project schedules
Prepare drilling completion and workover cost estimates
Assist in the preparation evaluation and contract awards
Ensure that the well plans are being followed and operational guidelines are being executed
Interface with operations reservoir projects and multiple contractors.
Qualifications required: -
Engineering degree prior experience in Drilling Engineering and Operations
High level of competency in offshore operations utilizing HDJU
HPHT experience in CNS
Competent in using drilling design software
Project management skills
