Our client has a vacancy for a Drilling Engineer (DC&I) based in Baku, Azerbaijan.

As Drilling Engineer you will support drilling completions and intervention work for the offshore platforms in the Caspian Sea.

Requirements:
First level degree (i.e. Bachelors) in engineering.
Extensive drilling engineering experience.
Valid Well Control (Subsea) Supervisory Level certified (i.e IWCF, Wellcap or equivalent).
Work experience in drilling engineering roles for either an International Oil Company; a National Oil Company; or a Service Company.
Technical and operational skills to deliver planning and execution of the Drilling activities.
Skilful and demonstrable knowledge in well planning, risk weighed cost estimating, cost management, contract management, hydraulics, torque, drag and casing wear prediction & modelling, casing design, mud system analysis, bit optimization, directional/BHA planning, drilling fluids and cementing, developing well operation summary programs, hole section guidelines, recommended practices, technical limit implementation and post analysis of operations.
Demonstrable leadership of Safety Programs for drilling operations and participate fully in developing HSSE culture.

This is a contract residential position.
