ORGANISATION

My client provides global capability in complex marine operations and offshore engineering. They have UK offices in Aberdeen Newcastle Slough and London with an established a recognised expertise in marine and engineering consultancy. The business has ambitious growth plans and is actively recruiting across all locations and business lines. The Aberdeen office provides Marine and Engineering consultancy to the Oil & Gas industry and mainly serves the local market. Principle clients are Oil & Gas companies contractors and the renewable market. Applicants should be prepared to work outside the Aberdeen area and offshore should the need arise.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD or similar draughting packages

• Experience working in the Oil&Gas and or marine sector

• Track record in draughting relating to Transportation & Installation operations

• Familiar with Microsoft Office suite of programs

• Preparation of construction/fabrication drawings preferred

• Experience of ship yard construction preferred

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Maintaining drawing office procedures auto cad templates and standard library files

• Preparing fabrication arrangement & procedural drawings for project execution work

• Preparing sub sea anchor mooring spread and key side mooring arrangement drawings for drill rigs and floating assets

• Preparing sea fastening and lift rigging drawings for various quayside mobilisations and offshore operations.

• Preparing story board and procedural drawings for MODU relocation works

• Assist with development of drawings sketches and illustrations for technical reports
