Our client is looking to recruit a Draughtsperson for their Engineering Department. This position will be full-time and permanent.

The role will involve providing a draughting service as required by the engineering department. The majority of the work is of a mechanical design nature involving precision-machined components.

Key tasks include:

· To produce detailed manufacturing drawings for issue to the workshop for production.

· Draughting proposal drawings for inclusion in bid packages for estimating the costs of manufacturing the components/products.

· Performing dimensional checks on drawings.

· Draughting of accurate product profiles for the purposes of engineering analysis work.

The ideal candidate will be educated to HNC/HND level in mechanical or structural discipline with significant relevant experience. A good working knowledge of AutoCad is essential and Inventor would be an advantage. Also essential is knowledge of machining and geometric tolerances.

The successful candidate must be capable of working as part of a team with the minimum of supervision.
