Our client has a vacancy for a Draughtsperson/Designer based in Aberdeen.

As Draughtsperson / Designer your main responsibiliteis will include:

• Perform draughting work as allocated by the Discipline Manager or other delegated person


• Be familiar with relevant codes and standards used in the draughting work carried out


• Liaise directly with project engineers on installation drawings and sketches


• Comply with all quality system requirements regarding production, registering, revision and filing of drawings


• Operation of CAD station, plotters and copying facilities


• Management of CAD files


• Self checking and registration of drawing files in respective registers


• Printing of Master Drawings and Sketches


• Inform the Drawing Office Manager of any material short fall or equipment malfunction


• Compliance with company HSEQ policy

Qualifications and experienc required:

• Formal Engineering Qualifications (eg HNC Mechanical Eng)


• Good interpersonal skills


• The ability to work as part of a team as well as on his/her own initiative


• Excellent attention to detail

This is a contract position.

The rate for this position is negotiable.
