Job Description
A leading subsea oil and gas company are seeking a Document controller for their Aberdeen office.
Key Responsibilities include:
To Mentor Assistant Document Controllers when assigned, providing education and guidance.
To act as the contact person for C.doc within projects.
To maintain a comprehensive Document Control System as required to fulfil the requirements of any specific project.
To be the focal point for all Project documentation, accounting for all documentation received and transmitted, ensuring:
- all documentation complies with company procedures and templates, is numbered, controlled, filed and distributed correctly,
- the monitoring and reporting of document status by the use of the available reporting tools,
- collation of hard copy manuals; As-builts and Data Sheets.
To participate in internal audits as directed.
To maintain and support, when required, to ensure that the administration and archiving are kept in date and relevant.
Any other ad hoc requirements, including providing holiday cover for other document controllers / seniors if deemed competent to fulfil this task.
Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by Line Management within the timeframe specified, in a safe and efficient manner to meet business requirements, provided the instruction is reasonable and you are capable and deemed competent to fulfil these.
Capability profile - Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Behaviour
Experience of document/data control.
Good secretarial/administration skills.
Good organisational skills.
Good communication/interpersonal skills.
English fluently.
Enjoys working in an international project environment.
Demonstrates flexibility to work demands
