Job Description
We are working closely with our client an integrated services provider to the energy industries in their search for an experienced Document Controller who can take responsibility for the delivery of high quality document control activities for projects and in line with company procedures. Someone who can work closely with the HSE manager and QAQC to ensure all documents are accurately maintained through the MDR.
If you have a good understanding of technical documents and drawings the ability to work on own initiative as well as the experience managing multiple projects then we want to speak to you about this exciting opportunity.
Responsibilities:
To control project documentation as per company procedure
Ensure policies procedures and other documents are firstly subject to an appropriate approval and process and inter Discipline Review IDR
Allocate document/drawing numbers and advise originator.
Co-ordinate the review of Documents requiring regular review and/or update.
Collect and Set up distribution requirements and send IDRs
Advise authors on the appropriate format of documents and to ensure that documents are formatted appropriately
Transmit the comments on documents back to originators
Assisting project department with queries on documentation requirements and submissions
Ensure all issued projects deliverables are correct and in accordance with document control procedures.
Provide administrative support to QHSE including weekly reports on MDDR status.
Maintain management systems and project systems MDDR and ensure always up to date.
Identify and participate in any changes necessary to ensure the effective development of the central Document Control System
Prepare Documents. Reports and charts as requested by the QHSE Manager.
Responsible to ensure compliance with and support for the QA Management System ISO 9001:2000 within own scope of responsibility and within the Company as a whole.
Responsible to develop adhere to and modify procedures and or processes to support the system and its applications within your area of responsibility
Required:
Educated to degree level or equivalent
Experience working within the Oil/Gas/Marine sector
Prince 2 qualified or similar
Strong organizational analytical and interpersonal skills
Ability to formulate and deliver presentations
