Our client is an international Consultancy providing design solutions for floating systems, offshore pipelines and subsea production systems

They are now looking for a Design & Analysis Engineer for their Surrey office

Candidates will be degree qualified in engineering discipline with a good knowledge of finite element (FE) modelling and application, ideally in the design and analysis of pipelines, risers or subsea structures and components. Good working knowledge of Ansys or Abaqus FE analysis software required. Knowledge of Autopipe, Flexcom or Orcaflex will be an advantage.

The candidate will be responsible for providing input and solutions to the project teams in a technical specialist environment, and ensuring technical integrity of analysis work. Good communication and IT skills are essential.

Technical /Professional Expertise
Offshore pipeline and riser engineering
Finite element theory and application
Structural mechanics and numerical analysis
Good understanding of design codes from API, DNV, BS, ISO among others
Involvement in EPIC projects
