Job Description
Based in Glasgow my client covers design and project management of power sector industries and are currently looking for a LV design engineer to be based in there developing team in Glasgow.
Overview of Role: To undertake all major aspects of Low Voltage Design work within a Nuclear environment. Duties may also involve updating Design Safety Reports in support of Naval Base Authorisation. The successful candidate will also be expected to present design work to relevant to clients and committee for approval.
The ideal candidate will be Chartered Engineer with Nuclear experience or working to become Chartered.
Key Responsibilities: Must be conversant with BS7671 (IEE Wiring regulations)
Essential Qualifications: Must be conversant with BS7671 (IEE Wiring regulations)
Desirable Qualifications: Chartered Engineer or working towards. Knowledge of Design Safety Case.
Security Clearance Required: SC would also be advantageous.
