Deck Construction E&I Engineer - 68559 job in Azerbaijan
Our Client has a vacancy for a Deck Construction E&I Engineer, based in Baku, Azerbaijan. This is a contract position.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing and co-ordinating contractors in all aspects of site activities.
Responsible for ensuring contractor and contractor's employees have the information to carry out task risk assessments for work to be done.
Ensure contractor is completing the work in accordance with client project and company drawings and technical specifications.
Monitor and guide the Contractor on Electrical and instrument engineering, Mechanical Completion and preservation activities.
Witnessing and approving site acceptance tests.
Monitoring of computer based Mechanical Completion database, development and supervision of the Cards cable management database.
Ensure technical changes to the project documentation are managed, documented, logged, tracked issued to the contractor and closed out when completed.
Liaise with the contractor to optimise the timely release of work faces for commissioning.
Assist in the planning activities, skylines and allocation of site hours expended to construction activities for contractors and vendors.
Monitor and report on progress of electrical and instrument installation, MC Handovers and System completion activities.
Experience:
Extensive experience of similar roles in Industrial facilities involving:-
Inspection of certified E&I equipment in certified areas.
Inspections of instrument process and pneumatic installations.
Trained in the use of Instrument Swagelok (or similar) fittings.
Technical Qualifications:
A recognised and accredited Electrical and/or Instrument qualification from the country of origin.
Compex trained with a valid certificate.
Basic Skills:
Competent in communicating in English language.
Ability to work on own initiative.
Good inter-personal skills.
Ability to produce written reports.
Computer literate in MS Word, MS Excel and MS Power point.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
