Our client is a leading provider of goods and services to the oil and gas industry. They are currently seeking a Customer Interface Engineer to be based in Angus, Scotland.

Role: The Customer Interface Engineer role is a senior position responsible for the delivery of ITO (Inquiry to Order) support for the Services Engineering team. This role has responsibilities in all matters relating to the organisation, planning and execution of ITO quotations, ITT review and customer support activities related to EUK Services Engineering.

Responsibilities:
Provide front end engineering support for the service of installed Subsea Production Equipment (SSPE), Surface Wellhead Equipment (SWE), Capital Drilling Equipment (CDE) and Subsea Wellhead Equipment (SSWE) equipment and provide options for customers on refurbishment/repair of products.
Prepare, document and establish standardized workscopes for equipment repair across SSPE, SWE, CDE & SSWE product lines.
Build relationships with key customers and develop pro-active service agreements.
Provide technical guidance to customers in initial inquiry stages of service/ field reports and guide this process through to quotation.
Assist in developing service packages such as common spares packages for standard product line, publishing and keeping current based on engineering changes.
Work with legacy information when required to assist customers in troubleshooting of equipment and liaise with engineering product group as required.
Work with project execution team on a regular basis to assist in improvement of processes.
Ensure all work is conducted to the Spirit and the Letter and in an environmentally and safe manner.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
A depth of engineering experience, preferably with manufacturing processes and materials for Oil & Gas equipment.
API & ISO codes pertaining to production equipment.
Desire to provide world class service to customers.
Ability to travel if required to meet customer needs.
Experience with:
Oil and Gas customer interaction and presentation.
Product line spares and service specifications development.
Sound knowledge of Quality, Heath, Safety and Environmental policies within the oil industry.
Financial awareness.

Knowledge and experience pertaining to the following would be advantageous:
Knowledge of service maintenance procedures & processes
Solid Oil & Gas industry knowledge.
