Our client provides expertise in Project Management Design Management Construction Management and Contract Administration together with other associated Project Management functions. Basic Function and Scope: Prepare project budget cost estimates and cost management plans. Monitor adjust and update cost management plan as per approved change requests. Prepare change orders where required. Assist in value engineering and life cycle costing workshops for cost optimization. Monitor cost management plans are being adhered to through periodic cost performance reviews on cost baselines. Assist in finding alternative options opportunities and means to achieve savings and generate greater value for the assigned project by engaging appropriate and best purpose cost and risk management strategies. Essential skills and qualifications: Bsc in Engineering Commerce Accounting CPA preferred Quantity Surveying or equivalent. Extensive cost management experience in construction preferably in quantity surveying and cost control in a large Project Management company. Experience with Primavera/Timberline is desired.
