Our client has extended its reach further, recently picking up a major new project in Western Australia.
Given their significant growth, our client is seeking to employ multiple, qualified and experienced Cost Controllers, ideally with Iron Ore (materials handling) projects exposure.
This role is fly in fly out on an attractive rotation. As a staff member, you will also receive a site uplift on top of your salary.
Your Next Role
- Preparation of Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS) in line with work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Contract and Cost Code Structure.
- Development of Baseline Budget from estimates/tender documents, scope of work and project schedule at project set up stage and their tracking during the execution
- Management of Change Control (variations and tre nds) and maintain change control register.
- Preparation of Progress Claims and other support documents for Invoicing.
- Preparation of periodic (monthly/weekly) internal cost reports.
A tertiary qualification or equivalent, and 5 years experience preferably in construction (mining and/or oil and gas industry) is required.
Your Ideal Background
- High level Microsoft Word & Excel skills are essential.
- Strong experience in cost control.
- Site/ FIFO experience will be advantageous.
