Our Client has a vacancy for a Contracts Manager, based in Manchester. This is a permanent position.

Reporting directly to the General Manager the Contracts Manager will be responsible for the planning, management and successful delivery of multiple projects within the Oil & Gas, detection and control operations.
 
Key Duties will include:
To manage multiple projects and to ensure that they run to time and budget.
To deliver timely and accurate financial progress information reports in relation to planned targets in line with management requirements
To ensure that projects are run to the required standards using formal project control and reporting techniques.
To ensure that all contractual obligations to the clients are fulfilled in a professional, cost-effective and timely manner.
Responsibility for the implementation and delivery of all relevant company health and safety requirements.

The successful candidate will have previous experience of project management within the Fire and Safety field with significant experience in programme planning, budget planning, scheduling and allocation of resources, progress reporting, risk management and people-management

Skills/Experience/Requirements:
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum standard of HNC or equivalent in Control, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
Full clean UK driving Licence.

Preferred Previous Experience:
Experience in industry project management.
 
Desireable:
BSc/BEng in Control, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

The salary for this role is Â55000 per annum.
