Job Description

Our client requires a Contracts Administration Manager as follows:

Responsible for the formulation and execution of contract documents from the bidding stages to the award and post-award stages for an offshore oil and gas operator.

Responsible for establishing effective communication with contract proponents, vendors and the legal department to ensure clarity of contract work scope, timely bidding and execution of contracts, and smooth contract management following contract award.

Responsible for ensuring that the companys contracting process complies with the companys policies and procedures, in particular those pertaining to ethical business conduct, procurement and approval authority levels.

Responsible for supervising Contracts Administration department staff, reviewing staff performance, conducting performance appraisals, identifying training needs and preparing staff development plans.

Qualifications & Experience

Four year university degree
10-15 years of experience in contracts administration, preferably in the oil and gas industry (offshore oil and gas experience is a plus)
Excellent document drafting and communication skills
Excellent commercial acumen
Excellent negotiation skills
Ability to work with minimum supervision and under pressure
Excellent skills in spoken and written English
Ability to work in a multi-discipline, multinational team environment
