Contracts Administrator, Marine
Post contract award administration of contracts within the MPPU Marine Group in support of client Project.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary responsibilities comprise post-award contract administration of marine and subsea installation contracts including:-
· Verification and approval of applications for payment, payment certificates and invoices including all related documentation, eg timesheets, personnel approval forms, overtime/travel requests, invoice registers.
· Liaison with Contracts Engineers on claims, amendments and change orders.
· Control of contractual correspondence.
· Monitoring of internal approvals.
· Maintaining and archiving of contract files/documents.
· Planning and control of contractual close-outs.
· Monitoring the invoice approval and payment process.
· Capturing minutes of meetings with Contractors related to contract administration.
· Ensuring all Contractors' reports are submitted on time.
· Auditing to ensure Contractor and Client teams are administering contracts in accordance with procedures.
· Contributing to a process of continuous improvement in the contracting process.
· Performing all activities to the highest professional and ethical standards and in accordance with BP/Project procedures and ensuring all decisions/commitments are recorded in an auditable manner.
