Job Title: Construction Lead Location: Aberdeen Rate/Salary: neg Duration: 12 months initially The Company: My client is an international oil and gas operator with significant exploration and production business in the UK. The Role: You will be a technical professional with experience in the oil and gas or petro-chemical industry. Knowledge of all phases of major oil and gas projects eg: FEED EPC Commissioning Start-up etc and experience of the project sanction process as well as having experience of managing greenfield and brownfield construction as well as experience of working on projects with joint venture partners. The position reports to the BLP Project Manager Line Manager. Essential Skills: Educated to first degree level in a relevant subject or equivalent preferred or HND or equivalent as a minimum. Candidates must be Offshore certified Survival Training / Medical etc. Ideally candidates should reside locally in the Aberdeen area. In addition you will have excellent communications skills both written and oral with the ability to challenge others in a constructive manner and negotiate with internal peers and partner representatives to influence plans as well as a team player with a pro-active and flexible attitude and able to work in a multi-cultural environment.
