Our Client has a vacancy for a Construction Coordinator, based in Aberdeen.  This is a contract position.

As Construction Coordinator, your responsibilities will include the following:
Act as the main focal point for the Offshore Construction Supervision and Team during the execution phases on the Assets.
Work closely with the offshore team/onshore HSE and Construction Manager to ensure all HSE requirements are met.
Conduct constructability work pack reviews ensuring development is in line with agreed schedules.
Co-ordinate mobilisation of resources for pre/during/post project and shutdown execution and ensures the correct mix of labour is available at all times.
Ensure material/fabrications delivery is timed to suit construction programme/platform space constraints.
Input constructability into detail design and ensures this is carried into work-pack development.
Conduct daily calls with platform.
Update weekly progress offshore into onshore reporting systems.
Liaise closely with Discipline Engineers on a daily basis.
Ensure all offshore time-writing to booking codes and overhead cost allocations are correct.
Attend client and company onshore meetings as and when required by the Construction Manager.
Liaise closely with Onshore 'Material Controller' to ensure correct management of fabrications, plant, tooling and consumables available for the Offshore Team.
Ensure any Technical Queries raised from offshore are closed out within acceptable durations.
Ensure construction completed work packs are closed out and returned onshore in a timely fashion and punch lists recorded.

Training/Skills:
Current offshore survival and medical required.

Experience:
Oil and Gas experience preferred.
Previous offshore supervisory or management experience preferred.
Sound knowledge and experience of multi discipline construction planning, execution and logistics.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to represent the company professionally with client.
Ability to communicate with ALL members of offshore team.
Proactive approach to problem solving involving multi-disciplines.
