Job Description
Commissioning Manager Japan A leading Oil & Gas Operator are seeking an experianced Commissioning Manager to over see the full commissioning & start up of the Onshore gas facilities on a 20 Billion dollar LNG project. You will see the project from FEED through to Execution. Your responsibilities will include: Commissioning preparation and planning Assist with selecting site and fabrication yard subcontractors and commissioning methods during FEED, commissioning and start up Act as an advisor on commissioning and start up best practice to senior onshore team members as required from time to time Provide an interface between construction, engineering and commissioning by supporting discipline engineers during constructability reviews for both company and contractor Co-ordinate with Operations team to meet their requirements of LNG operability, plant start up, pre-commissioning, commissioning, start up and safe operations. Input into construction, pre commissioning and commissioning schedules and commissioning sequence development and philosophies Provide support to government approvals and permit requirements Input into owners cost and budget for execution phase of EPC The successful candidate will need at least 20 years commissioning experience with 15 of those in a managerial role. O&G experience is essential.
