Within the framework of a World Class Multi Billion US Dollar EPC Onshore LNG Project our Client one of the biggest LNG producer worldwide proposes an outstanding role for a Commercial Advisor who has a proven experience on similar large scale Oil & Gas / LNG projects.

Location: Qatar

Duration of the assignment: Long Term

Contract: Direct Hire

Status: Resident Single Married and Family status possible

Work schedule: 6 days a weeks 8-10 hours per day

Annual Leave: 37 days per year

Job Description:

Job Purpose: The Commercial Advisor plays an important role in developing commercial agreements with long term business significance for the Company and joint ventures it represents. This position involves direct external interfaces as well as extensive internal coordination with functional experts and managers of various Groups. The Commercial Advisor is charged with developing negotiating and delivering executed commercial agreements required to enable project developments to proceed and project operations to continue subject if necessary to amendments to existing contractual terms. Key focus areas include the negotiation of multi-party arrangements related to EPC activity operations and common offplot infrastructure supporting various projects. The Commercial Advisor reports to the Commercial Manager Commercial & Shipping Group.

Key Result Areas

§ Accountable to Commercial Manager for planning and and conducting negotiations.

§ Negotiates multi-party agreements related to EPC activity Operations and common offplot infrastructure that supports various projects.

§ Works in a lead role with Law Venture Operations Finance and other Groups to plan draft negotiate and facilitate execution of agreements with external parties including joint venture participants and governmental representatives.

§ Complies with Commercial Departments prescribed Agreement Review and Endorsement Procedures SKAT process to ensure proposed agreements meet Group/functional requirements to facilitate development of commercial solutions and the incorporation of same into draft agreements.

§ Plans & executes functional hand-over of new agreements to appropriate business line management for implementation & administration. Serves as a resource to other Groups to ensure effective post-handover implementation & agreement interpretation/guidance.

Requirements

§ Bachelors degree in Engineering Commerce or Law

§ Minimum 10 years experience in oil and gas industry including:

Ø commercial agreements related to the development and operation of large-scale oil and gas projects

Ø reasonably developed understanding of joint venture operations and related commercial governance processes

Ø reasonable experience with international oil and gas development and production

§ Self starter with ability to lead work effort from start to completion of a transaction

§ Proven communications skills both verbal and written

§ Attentive to detail

§ Proven skills related to analysis and interpretation of commercial agreements

§ Ability to articulate commercial principles and transact negotiation details to contractual text

§ Proven negotiation and influencing skills
