Brunel Energy is currently sourcing for a Commercial Advisor for our client, a worldwide oil and gas exploration and production company. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a multibillion dollar LNG Project. This Perth based position will represent and safeguard our clients position and interests in commercial negotiations with third parties. Key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:

• Negotiate commercial agreements on sound commercial terms
• Provide advice on commercial matters as requested
• Assist in researching and compiling commercial information as requested
• Assist in identifying business development opportunities and researching new acreage opportunities and issues as they arise including the purchase or acquisition of new businesses
• Assist in managing specialist marketing, pricing, due diligence and legal consultancies, studies and research as required
• Act as an advocate at meetings and Conferences.
• Participate in project workshops and meetings as required.

The successful applicant will ideally hold a tertiary qualification in a technical, commerce, legal or other relevant discipline. Additional requirements include:

4 years experience in a similar role within the oil and gas industry

Experience working with and influencing oil and gas joint ventures

Extensive understanding of oil and gas valuation metrics

Attention to detail with a service ethos for internal clients

Sound negotiating skills

Highly computer literate
