The client

Our client is a manufacturer of equipment to the Oil & Gas industry.

The role

Due to continued growth a vacancy exists for a Coating & Painting Specialist.

Duties include:

Check and validation of coatings and processes related to it;

Preparation and administration of the documentation as requested by the standards (Coating Technical File);

Rating of specifications by customers and comparison with Company suppliers’ standards;

Required skill set:

Completed education in painting/ coating (industrial, assembly, construction), hot-galvanization, thermal spraying, galvanization or car coating 5 years of professional experience within the area of coating or: Studies in mechanical engineering, shipbuilding, metallurgy, chemistry, physics or construction/ civil engineering 2 years of professional experience within the area of coating or: Minimum 7 years of professional experience within the area of coating;

Ideally: Qualified in accordance with NSF NS 476 (inspector level) or Certified NACE Coating Inspector;

Very good English and GERMAN language skills (written and spoken);

Knowledge of the area of corrosion, surface finishing and color application, coating systems, inspection procedures and standards, HSE (health, safety, environment);

Practical knowledge with regards to relevant documentation;

User knowledge MS Office;

Communication skills, independent working style and team player;
