CIVIL WORKS QC INSPECTOR DIRECT HIRE CONTRACT - ALGERIA
Our Client, an international oil and gas contractor, is seeking a Civil Works QC Inspector to join their LPG project in Algeria.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
Must have recent civil works qc inspection experience within the oil and gas industry, preferably on LPG projects but this is not essential.
Must have experience of the job scope below.
Should have knowledge of French.
JOB SCOPE:
Mission Tasks
Execute the inspection and Quality Control activities on site, collecting the relevant objective proofs and ensure supervision of quality control activities on construction and erection works.
Professional Skills
Executes the specific inspections on materials, equipment and construction/installation activities on site. 2. Issues the relevant Quality Records and, when necessary, write and send to Quality Control Supervisor non-conformances reports. 3. Checks the preparation of foundations. 4. Checks the correct preparation of reinforcements. 5. Checks the certifications regarding element mixes. LASTM test, chemical analysis, grain size analysis. 6. Monitors atmospheric conditions during pouring operations. 7. Monitors correct curing operations. 8. Checks the sampling operations (when required). 9. Reviews the laboratory examination results. 10. Checks sub-grade dry density. 11. Checks moisture content. 12. Checks compression strength test. 13. Checks after execution of costing. 14. Checks after concrete puring. 15. Checks materials quality (wire, fitting etc.). 16. Verifies special processes and the relevant workers qualifications. 17. Orderly collect, check and manage documents certifying tests, controls and inspections carried out witnessing the tests, controls and inspections carried out. 18. Check the conformity with the Quality Control Plan and obtain the relevant documentation. 19. Check the documents certifying the tests, controls and inspections carried out- 20. Ensure the correct implementation of the approved Inspection Test Plan according to Clients requirements
Rate: £300 per day
Rotation: 75 days on / 21 days off.
