Civil & Structural Group Leader - Abu Dhabi

My client is a world leader in engineering, technologies and project management for the oil and gas industry. With over 50 years of experience and more than 23,000 employees in 48 countries they are a world leader and currently looking for and experienced Civil & Structural Group Leader to join them in their offices in Abu Dhabi.

Job purpose:

- Develop tools, technologies and methods to facilitate on site any civil or structural construction activity executed by Civil / Structural Sub-Contractors

- Develop Logistic Engineering for site construction activities (Camps, Transport, Infrastructures, Access, TSF, Laydown areas)

Main accountabilities:

- Development of tools, technologies and methods that will improve production, productivity, quality and safety for civil and structural construction activities: foundations, concrete and steel piperacks, other steel structures, paving, underground works etc

- Deployment of these tools on Projects after having successfully carried out some trial tests

- Development of Logistic Engineering for all temporary facilities and camps (basic design and organization)

- Deployment of this specific knowledge on new projects (support during pre-design, detailed design, construction and organization)

- Management of his team and reporting to the CMC Manager

- Must have extensive experience of building camp sites, temporary camp sites

- Must have extensive experience of designing camp sites and understanding how the design will be put in practise

- Experience of sewage systems, drains, water, roads etc within a camp site

- Degree in Civil Engineering
