We have now created a number of strategic appointments which will support our vision and plan for this decade, one of which is to identify an expert and talented COO who will run and manage the above core businesses within our group.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, your role will fundamentally be that of a Chief Corporate Services Officer, to oversee the corporate activities which relate to the delivery to the Group entities of Corporate Services other than Controlling/Accounting, Treasury, IT services.
Principal Accountabilities
· Provides support to the Group Business Units and the Holding in the fields of:
· Government and Administration services
· Logistics
· Human Resources
· Legal
· Corporate Communications
· Fosters the development of Corporate Services functions to fully support the Group Strategy
· Fosters the professional development of Corporate Services Managers reporting directly to him
Communications and Working Relationships
· Supports the CEO with all operational decisions related to Corporate Services
· Interfaces with external constituencies concerned by Corporate Services on serious problems before they are escalated to CEO
· Interacts, for Corporate Services matters, with all levels of the organization on transversal/cross BU's related issues (operational and other)
· Interacts and manages direct reports on a daily basis, i.e. the managers of Government &
· Administration, Logistics, Human Resources, Legal, and Corporate Communications Departments
· His accountabilities include management decisions that are beyond Corporate Services managers authority limits and that do not require CEO intervention (as per defined in the Authority Limits
Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Qualifications
· Minimum 15 years of working experience with at least 3 years in a similar, I.e. Shared Services, senior position in a company in the GCC or Middle East, preferably in the KSA.
· Highly motivated, who can work to high standards with little direction.
· Highly developed interpersonal skills, with an ability to build relationships internally, and a strong ability for conflict resolution
· English, and Arabic language fluency preferred
