Certification Engineer

Location: Libya (Office Based)

Salary: Negotiable

Rotation: 7/3

Duration: 1 Year renewable contract

Qualification Requirements

B.Sc. or HND in an Engineering Discipline or equivalent Evidence of a formal HSEQ training and background related to Onshore, Offshore

Specialist Skills:

Computer Literate, Experienced Auditor
Able to review and correct Management Execution Plans, Quality Plans,
Inspection and Test Plans. Good knowledge of the verifications and certification work
Good communicator.

Proffesional Experience

Experience in onshore/offshore Certification during project design, procurement, installation, and commissioning

Reporting To:

Mellitah Gas BV HSEQ QA/QC Coordinator

Interfaces with:

Projects, Operations and Drilling

Supervisory Responsibilty for:

As may be assigned and varied by the HSEQ Manager

Duties:

Develop and implement ongoing verifications, certification scheme and procedures for Onshore.
Offshore oil & gas facilities.
Ensuring that the requirement of the CB, with respect to their scope of work, is recorded on database by all EPC/EPIC contractors which include requirements from their subcontractors and suppliers.
Ensuring that full monthly status reports are received from all parties, and that any omissions
/discrepancies are reconciled. Ensuring that a monthly status report is also received from the CB and that it is compared and reconciled with the contractors reports.
Ensuring that the Data Process Specialist receives all the necessary information for maintenance of the project database with respect to verification/certification.
Ensuring that manufacturing data book requirements
for equipment and materials purchased directly by
Company are specified in accordance with requirements, and reviewing these at submission.
Conduct audits and issue formal reports
