Job Description
Our Client has a vacancy for a CP Engineer. This is a contract position, based in Kazakhstan, on a 28/28 rotation.
Candidates for this role must have NACE Level 3 or NACE Level 4 (or equivalent) qualifications. Must have extensive knowledge of impressed current system design and practicable site commissioning/problem solving experience.
As CP Engineer, you willl be responsible for assessing site inspection data as it is gathered, and using appropriate methods make recommendations for remedial activities. You will work towards a better understanding of the overall site problems, allowing a better understanding of the root causes. This will allow a detailed work plan to be developed.
This initial work will include activities such as:
Review of site historical survey data.
Review of previous design data.
Review of equipment maintenance records and site inspection of existing equipment.
Site inspection of isolation joints.
Additional site survey (fixed monitoring post, CIPS and DCVG).
The CP Engineer will provide the Leadership over the CP Remediation Team, set the day-to-day work directions, and ensure periodic review and reporting of results and findings are provided to the Corrosion Group Supervisor.
