Job Description
Swift Worldwide Resources is currently recruiting for an experienced Inventory Buyer for our clients on-site operation in Fort McMurray working on a 10/4 rotation. This is a contract position for one year that may be extended depending on the needs of the project and will be based on the project site. Anticipated start date - ASAP

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
6 years or experience in Oil and Gas or related industry.
Experience with JDE ERP system particularly purchasing would be an asset.
Proficiency with MS office tools Excel Word & Outlook.
Strong working knowledge of Supply Chain Management policies and procedures is required.
Project Management experience is a definite asset
Strong understanding of general operations is an asset
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
CPP or equivalent certification a definite asset.
Coordinating and overseeing the Procurement of Goods and/or Contract Formation for the Commissioning and Start-up procurement team CSU.
Involves interaction with key clients and peers to ensure daily priorities are met to achieve start-up of the operation.
Developing and maintain project schedules.
As part of this role:
Coordinating material requirements for CSU group with Suppliers Planners Business Unit Reps and Stock Analysis to meet timelines and objectives.
Provide commercial expertise to clients and ensure that corporate and local procurement policies procedures and guidelines are followed.
Coordinating the Procurement processes bid preparation & evaluation recommendations contract execution and administration.
