Purpose:
The Business Intelligence Integration Technical Supervisor will be responsible for the maintenance, support & integrity of the MD-Dashboard Business Intelligence (BI) Environment and supervision of the technical Dashboard team.


Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
The job holder is responsible for:
1) Management & coordination of the Business Intelligence Dashboard Team
2) Coordination and supervision of 3rd party resources in Atyrau & Milan
3) Working closely with the Business Intelligence Coordinator, Business Analyst & nominated Business focal points
4) Working closely with the BI Infrastructure and Data Management Team to ensure adherence to technical policies, standards and procedures
5) On-going support & maintenance of the MD-Dashboard Business Intelligence environment
6) Ensuring the integrity of the MD-Dashboard and associated Data Warehouse & Data Marts
7) Liaising with other ICT Section Heads to ensure alignment of best practices, adherence to governance policies and preparation of technological strategies
8) Enforcing adherence to ICT standard, policies, procedures & best practices.
•9) Evaluate and design measures to improve Business Intelligence performance & quality of service
10) Select the best suitable tools to develop, maintain and document the BI Environment according to Corporate standards
12) Monitor and maintain the Business Intelligence technical environment
13) Be proactive regarding awareness of Business Objects software upgrades and service packs
14) Advise the Business Intelligence Coordinator of beneficial or critical upgrade paths/requirements
15) Ensure adequate change-control procedures are defined and followed
16) Ensure adequate and up-to-date maintenance documentation is provided
17) Validating project plans, taking care of the implementation, testing, validation and customer acceptance for the completed tasks.


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
1. Degree (HND considered)
2. Experience with the following Databases:
a. Oracle
b. MS-SQL Server
3. Experience with the following Business Intelligence tools:
a. SAP Business Objects Enterprise
b. SAP Business Objects Web Intelligence
c. SAP Business Objects Data Integrator
d. Xcelsius 4.5 / 2008
4. Experience developing or supporting Business Intelligence solutions
5. Good knowledge of Microsoft technologies
6. Knowledge of project management methodologies.
7. Knowledge of business processes


Required Competencies:
The job holder must have proven:
1. Integrity, good personal, diplomatic, supervisory, written and presentational skills
2. Ability to take initiative, to maintain confidentiality, to meet deadlines, and to work in a team environment
3. Good standard of English language (written & spoken)
