Project Engineering Coordinator
Contract - 12 months Residential basis
Our client is a leader in the support and development of one of the largest Oil & Gas fields discovered anywhere in the world during the last 30 years. The project concerns the exploration and development of an offshore area in the Kazakhistan section of the north
Our client has a requirement for a Project Engineering Coordinator in Eskene West working on the Rail Project for the Kashgan Development.
Qualifications & Experience: The job holder must have : · A appropriate university Technical Degree with Charteredship preferred · A minimum of ten years discipline experience incorporating detailed design preferably in complex onshore and oil and gas project; · Experience in the design of industrial Railway projects; · Experience in operation of high H2S content facilities with stringent requirements in terms of HSE; · Previous experience in Former Soviet Union and/or Caspian Area would be preferred as would previous similar company rote especially in managing and interfacing with major contractors. Required Competencies: The job holder must have proven: · Capability to interact with onshore Departments relating to engineering disciplines in area of responsibility; · Capability of working on multiple tasks simultaneously; · Proactive approach to decision process; · Ability to carry out business activities in a multi-cultural environment and to exercise intercultural sensitivity in dealing with the Companys socio/political environment; · Good technical interpersonal and team-working skills; · Full understanding of importance in planning and executing projects; · Working knowledge of all relevant discipline codes and standards; · Ability to communicate well laterally and vertically within an organization; · Influencing and presentation skills ability to liaise with partners and be capable of constructive engagement with the RoK Authorities; · Business planning skills in so far that it impacts upon management of the Project; · Ability to identify the need for and mnage the integration of HSE and technical risk processes into engineering and project solutions.
To be based initially in the Engineering Contractors premises in Atyrau but will transfer to in Eskene West at a appropriate time.
