Job Title: Asset Planning Engineer
Location: Aberdeen

The Company: Our Client is a major contractor providing consultancy, engineering and project management services to the world's energy, power and process industries. They are the leading Contracting Company to the Oil and Gas Industry in the UK.
The Role: Role is to proactively provide planning and reporting expertise to the engineering management to help ensure that all onshore and offshore activities are effectively scheduled, resourced, monitored and reported on, in accordance with asset and client requirements. Provide an effective and efficient planning service to Engineering Management, adhering to the standard planning process BS-FC-214 and associated timetables. Maintain onshore and offshore engineering & construction plans for all engineering change proposal work and any other planning requirements required to support the delivery of such requirements. Provide engineering management with accurate reporting data to ensure effective utilisation of resources, both offshore and onshore. Interface with Integrated Asset Planner to ensure all offshore work is correctly scheduled and resourced. Provide adequate planning support in the event of asset shutdowns. Work closely with the cost engineers in order to provide accurate historical and forecast man hour data, whilst ensuring a robust coding structure is consistently applied.
Skills/Qualifications: Experienced in engineering and construction planning, creating detailed plans in P3e, and utilising the appropriate work management system (WPS). Develop a familiarisation of SAP/P3e/Mpower interfaces.
