Asset Planning Engineer - 64331 job in UK
Our Client has a vacancy for an Asset Planning Engineer, based in Aberdeen. This is a contract position.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and distribute forecasts and plans for all asset work activities
Receive MMS activity list from Maintenance Planner, Onshore Operations Co-ordinator and also other work lists from other responsible persons for non MMS derived activities. Confirm quality of information and ensure resources are in Primavera and resource availability replicates rota.
Collect information for compilation of Asset year plan.
Complete quality check on logic and dependencies/constraints on activities. Note areas of conflict (resource over allocations). Resource level activities (ready to go).
Carry out resource levelling, schedule core crew activities with existing mobilisations on asset plan.
Review plan POB with POB limits and identify areas of conflict.
Available to contribute to offshore planning meetings if required
Receive progress information and update plan accordingly; assess impact of plan variance; Assist with necessary reports (KPI info\efficiency data).
Work with designated shutdown co-ordinator to compile detailed shutdown plans.
Education & Qualifications:
HND qualified in an engineering discipline.
Training/Skills:
Working knowledge of Primavera P6.
Should possess current survival/medical and be prepared to undertake offshore visits, if required from time to time.
Experience:
Significant asset/maintenance planning experience gained within North Sea oil and gas industry.

Good team player.
Work with some supervision but must also be self directing.
