Job Description

Our client is an Aberdeen based Oil and Gas EPC company. They currently require a Asset Intergrity Engineer on a long term contract basis.
Candidates will ideally be qualified to Degree level and will need to show experience working in a similar role in the Upstream Oil and Gas market. Previous North Sea experience is an advantage but not a pre-requisite.

Main Duties:
Execute all activities in line with Asset Integrity Management System (AIMS), policy, strategy, procedures and plan
Comply at all times with AIMS process
Facilitate education and awareness of Asset Integrity good practice across all WGENS assets
Establish and maintain strong working relationship with peers and asset teams so as to achieve effective delivery and optimization of Asset Integrity on the assets
Promote and actively support AIMS process at all levels in the community
Monitor the effectiveness of Asset Integrity management arrangements in place
Report on AIMS effectiveness through line
Support and actively participate were required in internal audits in the area of Asset Integrity
Ensure line management is well informed about Asset Integrity management issues
Establish and maintain strong links with relevant external bodies and internal functions
Actively manage Asset Integrity delivery in response to Asset Integrity reporting and KPI's
Actively challenge as appropriate the organisation's success in managing Asset Integrity

Organisation
Actively support succession planning and plans for all Asset Integrity personnel
Actively support competence assessment, participate in appraisals and identification of training requirements for Asset Integrity personnel
Actively support effective "people development"; monitor and report performance of the Asset Integrity organisation, teams and individuals

Development
Personally promote an improvement culture within the Asset Integrity community
Seek out and propose through the line self development within the role

Financial
Actively support line manager to develop function annual budget
Actively support Operations Managers to develop annual budgets for Asset Integrity support activity
Practise and support good budget management against agreed targets

Qualifications
Bachelors Degree or equivalent
