Basic Purpose of Job:
Ensure the effective implementation and optimum application of company's minimum standards by way of Asset Integrity Management System (AIMS) policies, strategies and procedures. Working closely with peers and the asset teams to ensure that inspection and fabric maintenance regimes are implemented and anomalous conditions assessed and rectified so as maintain the integrity and maximise the availability of the company's assets; consistently and persistently strive to assure good practise at all times, on all assets regardless of asset type or location

Supervisory/Managerial Duties:

Ensure that all activities within their charge achieve optimum, effective and safe performance.

Offshore/site visits will be required in this role as per operational requirements

Main Duties:
Execute all activities in line with Asset Integrity Management System (AIMS), policy, strategy, procedures and plan

• Comply at all times with AIMS process
• Facilitate education and awareness of Asset Integrity good practice across all company assets
• Establish and maintain strong working relationship with peers and asset teams so as to achieve effective delivery and optimization of Asset Integrity on the assets
• Promote and actively support AIMS process at all levels in the community
• Monitor the effectiveness of Asset Integrity management arrangements in place
• Report on AIMS effectiveness through line
• Support and actively participate were required in internal audits in the area of Asset Integrity
• Ensure line management is well informed about Asset Integrity management issues
• Establish and maintain strong links with relevant external bodies and internal functions
• Actively manage Asset Integrity delivery in response to Asset Integrity reporting and KPI's
• Actively challenge as appropriate the organisation's success in managing Asset Integrity

Organisation

• Actively support succession planning and plans for all Asset Integrity personnel
• Actively support competence assessment, participate in appraisals and identification of training requirements for Asset Integrity personnel
• Actively support effective "people development"; monitor and report performance of the Asset Integrity organisation, teams and individuals

Development

• Personally promote an improvement culture within the Asset Integrity community
• Seek out and propose through the line self development within the role

Financial

• Actively support line manager to develop function annual budget
• Actively support Operations Managers to develop annual budgets for Asset Integrity support activity
• Practise and support good budget management against agreed targets

Health & Safety Responsibilites:

• Provide proactive and visible HSE leadership
• Demonstrate recognition and responsibility for the safety of colleagues and others
• Demonstrate commitment to safety through language, behaviour and actions

Provide effective support to workforce in appropriate safety behaviours

Education/Qualifications:

• BSc, B.Eng. or similar.

Or

• HND/HNC in engineering or equivalent with considerable experience and job responsibilities in relevant Asset Integrity positions
• Demonstration of continued personal development through other relevant qualifications

Training/Skills:

• Detailed knowledge of Asset Integrity Management Systems, anomaly management (through to close out) in an offshore environment
• Detailed knowledge of relevant legislative, regulatory, codes and technical standards (covering on and offshore installations)

• Demonstrable experience in the selection and implementation of Asset Integrity strategies, selection and use of Inspection and Fabric Maintenance Strategies including; Risk Based strategies, RBI, FEA and criticality techniques in general
• Demonstrable working knowledge of pipelines, pressure systems, structures, vessels, fabric, hazardous equipment maintenance and inspection requirements in a hazardous environment and experience of ensuring the delivery of the planned scopes
• Demonstrable experience in the supervision / management of Subcontractors, ICB, Asset Integrity and inspection teams, including development of personnel in an offshore environment

• Working knowledge of Offshore Installation Management regulations

• Able to understand and implement complex plans and resourced work schedules
• Able to innovate: utilise tools, techniques, processes or equipment which are successfully used in other contexts which can be successfully applied to Asset Integrity
• Able to effectively interpret Asset Integrity reports and KPI's and translate into practical action plan

• Excellent communications and presentation skills
• Effective report writing skills
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Persistence, an eye for detail and ability to complete and keep to deadlines
• Skilled use of typical office software

Experience:
Considerable and relevant experience in Asset Integrity at supervisory or management level in an offshore environment, with a proven track record of delivery

Able to demonstrate successful track record in similar positions

Professional demeanour, strong interpersonal skills
