Our client is looking to recruit an Asset Coordinator to act as the main onshore focal point for all operational issues associated with a nominated offshore installation as advised by the Asset Manager. From time to time act as co-ordinator for an additional installation in order to cover leave or sickness.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- The Line Management of Process Engineer Marine Co-ordinator and Logistics
- Attending safety related meetings to represent the vessel e.g. HAZOPs Risk Assessments where appropriate.
- Liaising with vessel management team by attending daily telephone conference calls with the nominated installation for which he/she is responsible.
- Reviewing assessing and progressing operational issues through to completion where possible when they are within the Co-ordinator\\\s own discipline capabilities liaising where necessary with other discipline engineers/managers. These tasks to be carried out in a timely manner with due regard to urgency and importance impacts on safety and operational revenues.
- Active involvement in the management and co-ordination of the installation modifications and operations queries.
- Liaising with discipline engineers other company department and external parties when required to ensure that operational issues requiring attention outside his/her own capabilities are adequately addressed in a safe and timely manner.
- Performing administrative duties associated with the post e.g. preparation of Offshore Activity Request Forms OARFs Material Requisitions MRs etc. liaising with administration/procurement and logistics groups regarding helicopter flights and supply vessels.
- Liaising with planning personnel and the offshore management team regarding the installation look ahead planning short and long term to ensure that conflict and clashes in the work programme do not occur. Ensuring that where appropriate work packs and materials are delivered offshore in a timely manner in line with planning requirements.
- Working in accordance with agreed performance standards/targets/goals.
- Actively contributing towards continuous improvement initiatives.
- Deputising for the Asset Manager due to sickness or leave if required.
- Any other duties as may be required.

Requirements
Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent in an Engineering discipline
- Combined Survival/Fire-fighting/HUET
- Oil and Gas UK Medical Certificate
Experience
- Oil and Gas industry experience in an onshore supporting role
- Experience in a supervisory capacity
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- Ability to progress multiple issues and projects\\\ simultaneously
- Good written and verbal communications
