Job Description
AREA MANAGER
Experience Required
Experience in construction acting as senior client representative
Previously worked with safety management systems and the application of HSSE principles on construction projects
Experience providing construction advice and troubleshooting
Proven experience with emergency response management
Managed major international contractors in line with a contract for service
Proven experience dealing with external parties i.e. landowners etc
Proven experience in project control and reporting systems
Worked with single lifts to 100 tonne
Managed construction workforces spread across multiple locations with peak direct manpower of 500
Knowledge, Languages, Skills and Attributes
Tertiary qualifications in an engineering discipline
Proactive commitment to safety in a leadership function
Extensive knowledge of construction standards and regulations
Excellent interpersonal skills
Project management skills across all construction disciplines
Ability to make prompt decisions with a continual focus on safety outcomes
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree or equivalent
