Job Title: **SUBSEA MECHANICAL COMPLETION ENGINEER! - OIL SUPERMAJOR!** Location: Norway Salary and Benefits: Competitive Contractor Day Rate Duration: 12 Month Renewable Our Client: Our client is an Oil and Gas Supermajor with worldwide Exploration and Production activities. The Role: Working closely with the QA Engineer, the Mechanical Completions Engineer is responsible of all Mechanical Completion (MC) activities (including documentation). He will ensure that the work is completed fully in accordance with the requirements of Company operations commissioning methodology and integrated commissioning and progress system. Co-ordinate and establish data sheets for SPS equipment and monitor the work performed on the integrated commissioning and progress system data base. The Mechanical Completions Engineer is further responsible for ensuring that Contractor performs overall Material Administration (MA) including transportation of pre-fabricated units, completed units and Company provided items. This includes transportation within Europe, within Angola and to/from Angola. Review the detailed list of equipment and establish with SPS Contractor a programme of MC activities for the subsea fabrication, manufacturing work and testing. Co-ordinate with site engineers with regard to MC and MA at the various work sites. Essential skills and Qualifications: Relevant degree in a suitable engineering discipline (or equivalent college education) 5-10 years on major deepwater subsea projects with excellent mechanical completion work, preferably with experience with Company commissioning methodology and systems. Frequent missions inside and outside Europe, particularly Angola, are to be anticipated.
