Job Title: PROJECT ENGINEER - OIL SUPERMAJOR Location: Rome Italy Salary and Benefits: Competitive Contractor Day Rate Duration: 12 month Renewable Our Client: Our client is an Oil and Gas Supermajor with worldwide Exploration and Production activities. The Role: Manage Project following activities for the EPC 2 main contract and other support contracts such as: Access roads to wells refurbishment engineering & construction Well sites engineering & construction Industrial and private water wells engineering & construction Archaeological surveys road maintenance. Coordinate Activities relating to Call for Tender Technical and Contractual Clarifications Recommendation to Award Contract Award and Contract Management. Manage Interfaces between Company and Contractors for Engineering Procurement Construction Commissioning and Start-up activities. Control in liaise with the responsible entities the Schedule Quality and Cost Issue related internal reports Coordinate interfaces with the relevant internal entities for all issues relevant to authorities for Permitting Land acquisition Legal matters etc Anticipate problems and propose solutions / optimization to Project Management Team Members Organize contractual / commercial / technical / coordinate / interface meetings necessary to ensure the successful achievement of the Project. Essential skills and Qualifications: At least 7 years in Oil and Gas industry Project Engineering Construction Pipeline. Must be familiar with Company Rules General Specifications and HSE regulations. As well as English a knowledge of French and Italian languages is desired.
