Job Title: **PLANNING ENGINEER! - OIL SUPERMAJOR!** - FLUENT FRENCH SPEAKER REQUIRED!! Location: Port Gentil, Gabon - Residential Basis. Salary and Benefits: Competitive Contractor Day Rate Duration: 3 Year Assignment Our Client: Our client is an Oil and Gas Supermajor with worldwide Exploration and Production activities. The Role: Assist the Lead Planning in ensuring that the other Projects package schedules and progress measurement is carried out according to the Project specifications; ensure that the schedule reporting meets the Contract requirements. Supervise the contractor for schedule and progress activities, review and comment on Contractors planning and progress measurement. Preparation of internal reporting identifying critical activities / potential delays Lead the checking, monitoring and reporting of Contractors Scheduling and Planning activities, aiming at completion of the work scope within the assigned duration Review and analyze of Contractors scheduling and planning documents (procedures). Ensure that Progress calculation and reporting system used by Contractor is conform to the Contract requirements Monitor the progress of all the phases (Engineering, Construction, Pre-commissioning and Commissioning) Identify of potential delays, analysis and issue of proposed corrective actions as required Prepare of ad hoc Project Planning documents Essential skills and Qualifications: Strong knowledge of construction aspects and Offshore Operations FLUENT IN FRENCH AND ENGLISH Graduated Engineer with 10 years experience in scheduling and in following large EPC contracts Sound background in O & G engineering areas with good knowledge of offshore construction Fircroft is a leading provider of technical recruitment solutions to a number of specialist industries, active in over 40 countries worldwide.
