Job Title: ***ESTIMATOR! - MAJOR OIL COMPANY!! Location: London, UK Salary and Benefits: Competitive Contractor Day Rate Duration: Long Term, Ongoing Our Client: A Major Oil and Gas Operator with Worldwide Exploration and Production Activities. The Role: The position is required to provide cost estimating activities for the Client and also provide support to all Asset Developments, in line with the Major Projects Common Process and the Project Services Guidelines. Provide different levels of Capex and Opex cost estimates ranging from Order of Magnitude through to detailed Project Sanction Estimates. Review contractor developed estimates and integrate into the overall project estimate; ensure consistency across multiple contractor estimates (single point of accountability). Prepare risk analysis model using proprietary probabilistic cost analysis tools such as BRISK Benchmark estimates against similar projects inside and outside the Caspian region via the in-house e-Projects database and against external metrics and benchmarks. Develop control budgets from detailed estimates and assist in the preparation of Master Control Estimates. Interface with the Estimating Coach and Independent Cost Estimate Reviewers. Develop input to Market Intelligence to support estimates and forecasting work. Update Cost Estimate to support project cost forecast and bottoms up project estimate updates. Essential skills and Qualifications: Knowledge and proven track-record of cost estimating in the oil & gas industry.
