Job Description
Global Human Resources Director, Dubai
The Global Human Resources Director requires a strong mix of strategic and operational experience. The Director will build and manage strong relationships with CEOs and Human Resource leaders from our global network. The Director will have a broad HR generalist background and be responsible for effective Human Resources strategies to ensure that the organisation attracts and retains high calibre human resources.
Key Responsibilities
Implement global developments in HR practices and advise management on strategies to become an
achieve an “Employer of Choice” standard.
Lead the implementation of an HR strategy that ensures continued matching of resource capability with existing and future business development and growth objectives
Lead the performance management process to ensure that the business has a framework for measuring and improving the performance of people
Establish reward policies and practices which attract, retain and motivate high performing people for the business
Evolve an effective employee engagement and reward programme and a management development programme in line with the objectives of the business
Establish and manage the operation of a framework of HR processes and procedures which meets legislative requirements
Provide expertise in support of reorganisation, restructuring and business growth to ensure that structures are aligned to business needs and to ensure that changes are implemented smoothly.
Designs, recommends and implements manufacturing operations policies and programmes in line with the overall business plan.
Explores, recommends and implements changes to existing systems and policies using innovative, up to date and cost effective methods.
Forms part of the management team and plays a key role in the setting of overall company policies and guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Solid international HR experience at the Director level with demonstrated knowledge and understanding of all aspects of International Human Resources, ideally from a Heavy Engineer construction background.
Ability to engage, influence and motivate senior managers. Be able to build credible and effective working relationships with key stakeholders.
Ability to navigate in a highly complex matrixed organisation and operate effectively in an often ambiguous environment
Track record for developing and driving process improvements, cost effective strategies to improve the functions value proposition.
Demonstrated experience creating HR strategic plans and annual objectives that will contribute to the growth of a dynamic organisation.
Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) in Human Resource Management.
Masters level degree strongly preferred.
Five or more years of project management and implementation experience of HR Systems
