Projects Assistant job in UK
Our prestigious client is one of Europe's premier wind turbine manufacturers and suppliers. They are involved from the manufacturing right through to the assembly and servicing of market leading turbine systems.
Due to growth and expansion within the organisation they are looking for a PROJECTS ASSISTANT to join their fast growing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in enabling the projects team to deliver it's obligations. It is a varied and challenging role so the candidate must be open minded and have a strong work ethic. You will be required to issue the Project Quality Plan for each of the projects, therefore responsible for ensuring all project documents are collated during the project life cycle.
You will also be responsible, but not limited to the following;
Completion of work packages
Support of snagging process (individual turbine walk downs) and snag resolution
Procurement activities
Invoicing, bond and claim administration
Assisting with Health and Safety documentation.
Experience of using SAP is desirable as you will be required to train members of the team in this package. Experience of project life cycles and document control is essential. It is also essential you have a high level of PC literacy ie, word, excel, Powerpoint and electronic document management systems.
