One of the major oil and gas operator based in Malaysia is looking for a Mechanical Commissioning Engineer.

Mechanical Commissioning Engineer must be qualified to the appropriate engineering discipline with a recognised degree or equivalents and knowledge of commissioning and engineering design processes.

He must have at least 12 years’ experience in his discipline on commissioning of offshore platforms and FPSO experience would be an advantage, both in the fabrication yards and at least 6 year’s offshore experience, have a knowledge and experience of commissioning engineering and commissioning certification systems, commissioning and handover procedures.

He must have the ability to work with interdisciplinary teams and communicate with discipline engineers in the development of procedures, practices and strategies. In-depth knowledge of principles / theory of both piping and mechanical equipment.
