Job Description
In Internal Audit your role will be to provide assurance over the management of these risks, identify actions for improvement, and report on these to senior executives and the Board.

Internal Audit is seeking to recruit a number of individuals across a range of disciplines. No previous audit experience is needed as full training and development will be provided.

For these roles we are looking for an in-depth knowledge of the E&P business to supplement our audit team. The preferred candidates will have extensive SME in one or more of the areas of sub-surface, projects and engineering, commercial, procurement or Finance.

Auditors are assigned to work on a variety of audits on the basis of their individual capabilities and development needs. Many of these are global or regional in scope and comprise team members from other audit locations across the globe. The key accountabilities for this role are:

1. Leading or participating in audits and reviews, challenge sessions and other exercises to support delivery of the function's accountabilities.
2. Analysing business information to identify risks and key control strengths and weaknesses.
3. Developing and communicating insights and messages effectively.
4. Helping to form an objective opinion of company System of Internal Control (SIC).

A successful Internal Auditor is one who is valued and recognized for the quality and independence of his/her insights and for his/her ability to communicate insights in a way that has a positive impact on the business. We are seeking candidates who have a proven track record of delivery and who are looking to leverage their contribution and development in a demanding role.
